Suntory Hibiki is a blended whisky that was first released in 1989 to commemorate Suntory’s 90th anniversary and has ever since been embraced as the paragon of The Art of Japanese Whisky. It is a harmonious blend of thirty distinct malt and grain whiskies which are meticulously blended to create a full orchestra of flavours and aromas.

“Kanzen” or complete, Hibiki Whisky is a harmonious blend of innumerous malt and grain whiskies which are meticulously blended to create a full orchestra of flavors and aromas. Seductive, blossoming and enigmatic, Hibiki Whisky celebrates an unrivaled art of blending, fine craftsmanship and a sense of luxury from the House of Suntory.

It is made with malt whiskies from the Yamazaki and Hakushu distilleries, as well as grain whisky from the Chita distillery. The whiskies are drawn from 5 different types of cask, including American white oak casks, Sherry casks and Mizunara oak casks (Japanese oak).

TO THE EYE

Amber-coloured due to the four seasons of the surrounding waters and the special maturation process.

TO THE NOSE

Powerful aromas of vanilla, ripe berries, dry wood and a hint of peach and pineapples.

TO THE PALATE

Flavours of wood and oak with slight sweet vanilla notes.

TO THE END

Subtle, tender long finish, with a hint of Mizunara (Japanese oak).
