The combination adds further layers of hop fruitiness to the whiskies already fruity character as well as a touch of citrus, floral notes and some balancing bitterness. Tasting Note
Nose: Fresh grapefruit and lime, vanilla pod, sugared almonds.
Palate: Oily walnut and hops, caramelised dates, continued citrus zestiness.
Finish: Malt, white pepper, caraway and green apple.
