Johnnie Walker Swing Blended Scotch [750ML]

The Founder of the Johnnie Walker brand was John Walker, a grocer. Johnnie Walker is now owned by Diageo that originated in the Scottish burgh of Kilmarnock in East Ayrshire. After the death of John Walker in 1859, the brand was taken over by his son, Alexander Walker, who helped turn it into the global superpower that it is today. It is now the most widely distributed brand of blended Scotch whisky in the world, sold in almost every country.

The name Swing comes from the rocking motion of the bottle when pushed. The bottle was purposely designed to rock the wave motions in the sea. The story began when Sir Alexander Walker was on his transatlantic voyages and noticed the bartender in the bar struggling to keep the bottles upright in the racks to prevent breakage. The exact blend for Johnnie Walker Swing remains a closely guarded secret but the bottle is made out of 35 Speyside whiskies along with smaller quantities of both Highland and Islay for weight and character. Bottled at the standard 40% ABV.
